ATS — Taxi Management & RKSV Cash Register System

Background

A Viennese taxi company specialising in airport transfers managed the entire operation in an outdated MS Access database: job orders, customer management, billing and receipts — all local, without backups, without remote access. Data losses happened regularly. The cash register obligation (RKSV) could not be correctly mapped with the old system.

Challenge

The migration could not interrupt ongoing operations. At the same time, the new solution had to be fully RKSV-compliant — with automatic receipt creation and printing on the existing thermal printers directly at the register. Card terminals had to be integrated, and a customer portal built for account clients.

Solution

Complete cloud-based management software with Nuxt 4, Nitro.js and Supabase. Centrepiece: RKSV-compliant register function with automatic receipt creation and direct printing on connected thermal printers — no manual step in between. Card terminal integration, cloud-based data management with automatic backups, flexible roles and permissions system, customer portal for account clients, QR code validation for travel vouchers, PDF/CSV export for accounting.
